Londer Vineyards started in 1999, with the first vintage happening in 2001.  As with so many other wineries, Londer Vineyards was started by a family which had made it’s money elsewhere (namely as a doctor in New Mexico).

These are really, really refined wines that are characteristic of the region itself.  Of course, the family didn’t find the wine industry quite what they expected and the winery closed doors a few months ago.  We’re sad to see Londer Vineyards go by the wasteside.

It’s a shame to see Londer Vineyards go especially given that we had previously included an estate Pinot Noir from them in our gift basket program.
