There’s a dichotomy in the wine industry where the sales folks frankly aren’t always fun to deal with as either consumers or as an online wine club, but winemakers are some of the nicest and most humble people around. Moreso than other industries, it helps a ton to take some time to learn a few basics and to plan a bit before taking a trip to wine country.
