Originally an Anderson Valley orchard, the vineyard came into the Oswald family in 1979 and continues to this day. One of the larger producers in the sea of micro producers in the Anderson Valley, close to 50,000 cases are produced in every vintage. Around a quarter of their total production comes from estate fruit and the rest is sourced from neighboring vineyards.
Prices for Husch Vineyards wine are more than fair, with a Pinot Noir coming in at $25…that’s at least $10 cheaper than many of their neighbors. Husch’s entry level wines make a nice fit in any cheap wine of the month club, while the single vineyard offerings show well against any competition.
