Opened by Rick Forman, who made a name for himself at the tender age of 24 when he became winemaker at Sterling.  If you aren’t familiar with the Sterling story, Coca Cola once thought they could become a major player in wine by purchasing established winery operations, of which Sterling was the first.

Sterling’s founder Peter Newton left Coca Cola along with Forman, only to see Forman leave a few years later to open his namesake winery.

Production at Forman is easy to understand. There’s Cabernet and there’s Chardonnay.  It’s Napa and classic Napa at that.

We’ve previously included Forman wines in two of our red wine clubs and will certainly do so again in the future.
