One of the first wineries to show up in one of these spaces that we’ve actually worked with, Andretti Winery fetures of the best versions of Sangiovese made in Napa Valley.  Owned by, as you’ve probably guessed, the race car legend Mario Andretti along with a former KMart executive there’s a lot to like here.  While in our wine club program we rarely work with folks with names big enough to generate interest on their own, we were happy to ship their Sangiovese in December 2014 in our Special Seelctions Wine Club, the Sangiovese is a really, really interesting and light bodied version of the grape.

Of interest is their Villa Andretti series, an entry level look into winemaking in Napa Valley, Andretti Winery is one of the few wineries in Napa to offer anything in the $10-$15 price point.
