In 2003, you had 2 winemakers come together to start a new wine label. As you might expect, the results, especially coming from the cold climate Anderson Valley, was among the most Burgundian in all of California.
Featuring 4 different Pinot Noir’s, each from a different single vineyard site in either Anderson Valley, or elsewhere in Mendocino, these are the lowest alcohol percentage Pinot Noir’s that, quite frankly, I’ve ever seen.
I recently had the chance to try their Langley Vineyard Pinot Noir and came away impressed, it’s exactly the type of thing that my customers in a premium wine club might enjoy, since so many of them enjoy old world classics in addition to American wines.
