Bill Hartwell bought a property off the Silverado Trail that sits basically dead central in the Stag’s Leap District.  The draw here, without a doubt is Cabernet Sauvignon.  Consulting winemaker Andy Erickson has made himself into perhaps the best known consulting winemaker in the world with his work at Screaming Eagle, by far the best known cult Cabernet Sauvignon around.

Basically, these are incredible wines with scores well into the high 90 point range. They make for a great and impressive wine gift. Of course, the high end wines are a couple hundred bucks a bottle-so you have to be willing to pay the price for one of Napa’s best.
