Ok, so let’s get the ownership history down before we go on: started by Larry & Eva Dizmang.  Sold to Dick Peterson. Sold to Trinchero Family (Sutter Home might be the more familiar name here though).

Located north of Calistoga, Folie a Deux is one of the few wineries in Napa that markets a Cabernet from someone outside of Napa’s borders.  In this case, it’s an Anderson Valley version of the varietal. From that offering, to the Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon priced at a mere $24, things run a bit differently at Folie a Deux than they do at their competitors a few hundred yards away.

Modestly priced makes them a nice fit for any of our online wine clubs and as people try to find ways to save while buying wine, names like Folie a Deux that are both memorable and deliver value, will continue to gain market share.
