Alcohol and Milk Together at Last

Well, at least milk doesn't solve many problems once you surpass a certain age :)
National Cabernet Day 2012

As much as our customers are interested in other grapes like Pinot Noir, we know that for the vast, vast majority of wine drinkers nothing can beat an aged Cabernet. These "National Days" are definitely new, but why not take advantage of a local restaurant's special offer or two today as they try to capitalize on the social media blitz which is bound to happen later on this afternoon and early evening?
Wine Does That

Just in case anyone thinks Matt and I don't have a sense of humor about ourselves. We thought this might be a favorite for some of our customers.
Places To Have A Drink

Do you have a favorite place to have a drink? What do you look for? Ambiance? Prices? Convenience? A little of everything?
Blast from the Past: A Glass at Copain
If you're planning on tasting in or around Healdsburg and the Russian River Valley, Copain offers one of the better views around. Their winemaker Wells Guthrie has also been one of the driving forces behind the lower alcohol movement in California wines, especially Pinot Noir. Of course, lower alcohol levels can't come about simply by a winemaker making that choice (yes, they do have some control after all) but setting the goal of being more French in style has forced Copain to look at some of the coolest growing sites in California. All in all, it's one of our favorite places to taste in Sonoma and would suggest it to anyone on their next trip to Northern California wine country.
