Visit For: According to Robert Parker their 2007 vintage included a 95pt Petite Syrah and a 94pt Cabernet Sauvignon both priced at $40. What's not to like?

It isn't often in Napa Valley that you find wine scored in the mid 90 point range according to Robert Parker and have it still priced at $40. That level of wine easily finds it way into price points for twice that price point.
Given the buzz that Priest Ranch has received for not only thier Petite Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon but also for their partner winery Somerston's Sauvignon Blanc, we were excited to visit. We don't buy wines simply on score alone because we have some idea about the types of wines which our customers want and expect, but we certainly thought that the scores and hype revolving around Priest Ranch was well deserved. These are structured, dense and rich wines which offer a nice example of the type of wine which has made Napa Valley famous among casual wine drinkers and collectors alike.
